Full Version: Regrades in Detroit

Can't really call them upgrades, can't really call them downgrades either. Odd that they would do this in the middle of December, but:

WWTBAM double-run moves from WKBD-50 (UPN) at 10:00/10:30 AM to WWJ-62 (CBS) at 9:00/9:30 AM. This is a trade with Judge Mathis.

FF double-run moves from WKBD-50 (UPN) at 9:00/9:30 AM to WWJ-62 (CBS) at Noon/3:35 AM. This bumps Becker. A nation (or at least the Detroit DMA) mourns.

I would classify them as retrogrades, as both game shows have been on 62 before.

Well that sucks. UPN 50 was really the only way to see Family Feud here in Mt. Pleasant. Now nobody carries it up here :(

NBC 25 in Saginaw will occassionaly show it at 11am unless someone buys an infomercial, which seems to happen everyday.

Yes, I've been noticing that. I used to watch it on NBC 25. I didn't watch it often on UPN 50 either...9 am is too early to be up :-)

I'm wondering with these moves, will it bring more Detroit viewers? Knowing the ratings performances of these great, underrated syndicated shows nationwide, there will have to be hope.
