Starting on Halloween, KTVT (CBS-11) moves Jeopardy! from 4:30 pm to 11:00 am.

What's weird is that GSN has reruns of Jeopardy! @ that same time!

Moving J! to a lesser time slot like that seems really unusual. Does any station run first-run J! any earlier than Noon EST(11AM CST)?

Essentially, what's happened (though it took a few weeks to get there), Jeopardy! has now traded stations and times with Millionaire. I was surprised, though, that KTVT would try a 4PM news.....again....for the third time. Furthermore, I'm also surprised that Jody Dean decided to re-up with the station to do the 4PM, even though he's now a morning drive DJ taking over for a legend.

Plus side of this move -- it'll be on after "Price".

Minus side -- most of the "Trebekkies" will be at work or school.

Haven't seen a timeslot for J! like that in decades. I remember when WOC-TV (Davenport IA) aired the first season of J! at 11:30am after Super Password, while Tic Tac Dough held onto its cushy timeslot of 4:30pm before the news. Later that year the two game shows switched timeslots, and the rest is history. (J! has stayed in that timeslot ever since, I believe.)

"Jeopardy" has aired on WTOK Channel 11 in Meridian, MS at 11:00 AM Central Time since 1998.
