Hello,
I just want to give everyone an update regarding FLASHGames². Of course as I had previously mentioned, both Chris and myself had decided to take the summer off to spend time with our families. And as we near the end of summer, we are getting prepared to resume work on our website.
There will be a number of changes that will be put into effect for when we relaunch. Those of which will be beneficial, whereas others will be simply for convience. Unfortunely, one change for "convience" will be the temporary discontinuing of our message board. This was a decision that was heavily discussed on over several weeks, and both Chris and myself were in agreeance. Their were many issues that were turning what was a place for our visitors to discuss our genre, into a liability. So therefore as a result, The Big Board will be placed on the backburner until further notice.
In the meantime, their will be an FAQ webpage open to answer any general questions you might have regarding our website. And as we construct this new section, if you have any questions that you would like answered, email your submissions over to tjw_99@excite.com
To answer a couple questions...
-To insure that games are going to be finished and available for play, we cannot publically discuss those that are being developed.
-The relaunch date will be announced on http://www.flashgameshows.com when the time is neccessary
We sincerely apologize to our fanbase for this downtime that has transpired this year. Personally, this was not the way I wanted our fifth year on the internet to be celebrated. It's really sad how a few game show psychos, can really suck the fun out of what we do simply from our freetime. We don't make any money from the number of hours of labor we spend putting those games together. They are offered just for the reason why we started in 2000, for the public to relieve their game show yesteryears in a unique interactive enviroment. People play the games just as they remember them from the sound effects, to the music, the set, logo, even down to those cheesy chase lights. And we will continue carry that tradition when FLASHGames² makes its return.
Stay tuned.
