Straight quiz book, aside from a couple of pages at the beginning. I wish they had put more "behind the scenes" stuff in it, which of course would be hilarious to read today.

And then there's this still of Bob Barker from apparently an unsold pilot for a remake of WML?

Actually, it looks to be a photo from "That's My Line", a G-T show Barker hosted.

You're exactly right, though given Bob's placement with regard to the show's logo, you can hardly blame the seller for making that mistake!

Well, another week, another set of finds from Mark.

I would've loved to see how the 1976 decathlon winner Bruce Jenner does hosting a game show. "sigh" Oh well, I'll just have to settle for his voice work as track & feild commentator.

At least that 1995 Donahue episode sounds intresting. All the seperate pictures with a close-up of each host was nice to see(name & all) except one. Who was that guy in the white suit? There was no name attatch to him skimming through all those photos. I wonder if it was Peter Tomarken. That episode looks like a production dubb to me based on the openning slate.

Ahh, the old days of MTV(wich, BTW turns 24 today) where there were no Punk'd, no Real World & all that crap. Even if it's unauthorized., that RC DVD sure looks enticing. Where's the Bishop when I need him?

Tom Kennedy. I think you seriously need to have your eyes examined. And don't drive!

While offline for most of the past 4 days due to DSL problems, I pulled out some unmarked tapes from my collection. One of the shows on one of the tapes was Celebrity Double Dare. I don't recall watching this episode whenever I first received it and for good reason. Good heavens, that show was bad.

I might have to upload a video tonight...

Probably about as good as him playing the part of a California Highway Patrolman on "CHiPs", which isn't saying much.

You Know You're a Game Show Nut when just by looking at the Gene Rayburn "Then & Now" screen grab, you can tell the clip was the blooper from the Match Game nipples/dimples episode.

You clearly didn't experience his stellar work in "Can't Stop The Music"...
