Greetings to all once again.
I have decided to start a new feature here on the boards, I hope it's OK. As many of you know from my experience last November, our good friend Jason Block has a trivia contest he hosts on WPLJ 95.5 in New York called Beat The Block. I was the 9th of his 11 victims in the first season, and now he is back on the air, where his undefeated record is now up to 14-0.
Today, he defeated Kristin Hart of Jersey City, NJ by a commanding 10-1 score. But it was not an easy win. In fact, the two of them missed a record NINE questions. (On most shows, it's usually 2 or 3.)
So, today, I would like to begin the first in a series that I call BEAT THE BLOCK STUMPERS. Think of it as a modern day flashback to Cullen's Joker's Wild, although it will not usually be this long.
Have a look at today's stumpers and see if YOU could have Beat The Block.
Feel free to reply. And no cheating.
