Well, it's a safe bet that baseball draws higher ratings than...oh, wait, this is the Orioles. :D

Have you called the station to see if the show might be rescheduled?

Now, now...the O's ain't that bad so far yet, Chris.

One of the markets in Texas didn't air it either, as I was to understand (which one was it, guys?)

Yeah, I know, but it was an easy gag. :)

If it's Houston, we can rest assured that GSWitch will say something stupid about it.

Definitely wasn't Dallas. Besides, FOX has all the team's games (well, excpet for the rare ESPN games.)

I'd look for it late tonight--maybe set a VCR just in case. The Yankees/Orioles game started at 4:30 PM ET (explain that strange starting time for a non-FOX baseball Saturday). I'm sure that had it not taken a swift three hours, 46 minutes to play that TPiR would've aired as scheduled.

I am just thankful that it wasn't pre-empted here in Birmingham again.

Don't forget, it's early in the season. Still, I'd like to see the look on George Steinbrenner's face when he sees the AL East standings tomorrow morning. His $200M Yankees are in last place!

ObGameShow:
Johnny Gilbert: This is Jeopardy! Let's meet today's contestants: a baseball player from The Bronx, New York, Alex Rodriguez...
[fast forward to interviews]
A-Treb: You have a steady job, and you make more than even Ken Jennings. So what made you come on a little show such as this?
A-Rod: I have a family to feed.
A-Treb: Cousins constantly coming out the woodwork? Funny, that happened to Ken, too. ...
[Jason switches to the Around the Horn marathon on ESPNU]

To those who missed it in their markets: I can put it on DVD (at SP instead of XP--sorry) for anyone who wants a copy.

Typical of WJZ, but then again, the O's have SOSA!! lol

Yep, good ol' 13...A station that sent out it's helicopter to cover an 800-pound man being extracated from his home to go to the doctors, and then had the nerve to call it "breaking news"...Must have been a slow news day in Charm City that day. lol j/k BTW, I miss watching Marty Bass...By far, the most entertaining weatherman I've seen.

In all seriousness...it's a shame that Baltimore's UPN affiliate isn't a CBS O&O station. Here in Pittsburgh, our UPN station is a CBS O&O and anytime CBS primetime programming is pre-empted on the CBS affiliate KDKA for whatever reason, they just shift the CBS network programming over to the UPN station.

You got that right! KHOU did have the last $1,000,000 special. They only missed one due to a St. Jude's special (just like KPRC pushed back the final Billy Bush LMAD).

Welcome to the club whewfan! Be thankful they didn't have a $1,000,000 winner or fans in Baltimore would've felt like the Jets-Raiders fans & the Heidi Bowl.
