Where the hell did anyone find this?
This ranks in the 5 worst songs I've heard in my life.

If you look at the rest of the site, looks like the guy did a project where he added an MP3 of a crappy song every day, for one full year. (2003).

An interesting (and often times, funny) read.

Where does my rendition of The $1.98 Beauty Show serenade fall on that list, Mark?

Hate to bring this up, but...

Anyways, it was the same song.

While I certainly don't speak for everyone; I find it hard to remember threads from October of 2003.

Right below your rendition of "Wizard of Odds"

Would it be a good thing, or a bad thing, to admit that I have a copy of this?

I also have vocal performances by the likes of Hugh Downs, Bob Eubanks, Johnny Gilbert, Allen Ludden, Jack Narz and dozens more, some of whom make Dawson sound good! Try to sit through Jan Murray singing the theme song to Treasure Hunt!

Of those you mention, I would imagine Johnny Gilbert would probably have been the best singer of the bunch, because that's how he broke into the TV business - as a singer in the Newport News, VA area.

At the 2000 TOC in Atlanta, while she was sitting in the audience after being eliminated, that little brown-noser Carolyn Carcraft asked Johnny if he could sing for us. Johnny said that he appreciated the mention, but that he doesn't have the voice any more, yada, yada, yada. The mark of a true professional.
