Complete, factory sealed copy of "The Dating Game, 2nd Edition".

As priorily mentioned, Password Plus, 3rd Edition.

I recall seeing this back in 1991, before I had a computer.....Gametek 3-pak, Primetime Hits Vol II set of games. Press Your Luck, The Price is Right, and Jeopardy, 1st edition. Unfortuently, they are on 5 1/4" disks. Wonder what was in Volume I...

Ticket from the short-lived version of "Quiz Kids" that aired on CBS Cable.

September 1986 edition of the "Game Show Magazine"

A&W and Family Feud? Can anyone explain this one; or is this some homemade piece of crap? Found here .

I'd like to have explained why they call Feud a game show from the nineteen-SIXTIES. Seems homemade to me.

Considering they screwed the pooch on the logo coloring, and a look at:

http://www.awrootbeer.com/hist_logo.htm

indicates that they screwed it on the logo design itself as well, coupled with the fact that the Feud logo looks like complete garbage, makes me wanna think this is a poor attempt at creating nostalgia.

I remember those! My parents didn't let me buy it because they didn't like the Whammies... lol.

IIRC Volume I was HS, Wheel and I think SP but I'm not 100% sure. Very hazy memory.

The back of the box has a pic of the Vol I cover. I can barely make out the two end logos, but they do look like HS and SP... so you're right.

There's a picture of the back of the box for the auction that has Vol 1. listed, but it's too small to see.

I believe that was correct. I couldn't make out the end ones in the small picture, but I did make out the WoF box cover in the middle. And taking what other people said, I assumed that is correct.

My guess: A&W corporate conference/retreat at which one of the activities was the various regional managers (or whoever) playing "Family Feud" against each other. "Top 7 answers on the board...name a clause our company mission statement." Afterward, everyone got T-shirts that had been printed up for the occasion.

Makes as much sense as anything. Clearly, the guy who's selling it doesn't have a clue, so nothing he says in the description really matters at all.

The A&W logo on the shirt was the one used in Canada in the 1980s and 1990s, which used a logo design different from what Americans used. Canadian A&Ws have changed their logo in recent years, which is still different from the current American logo.

I should also mention that Canadian A&Ws still have The Burger Family and Chubby Chicken, along with the foil pouches -- all given up by the American A&Ws years ago.

Prime Time Hits Volume 1: WoF, Super Password, HS
Prime Time Hits Volume 2: J!, PYL, TPiR

The best of the bunch is PYL because the gameboard gameplay is reasonably rendered considering the low-res graphics. I can't but wonder what great games these would be if a company such as Jellyvision (You Don't Know Jack, WWTBaM) was behind the production.

One drawback of the PYL Gametek game: there were only a handful of questions on the disk for the question rounds.

I recant my statement! I played the game last night for the first in years and it's awful! Players can't just ring in to answer! The player on the left gets to respond first and then the center player and, finally, the player on the right can take a guess!
