For a few days, the www.tpir.tv site has been missing, and says that "This site is temporarily out of service due to non-technical reasons". Hopefully it will return.

I wonder if he didn't pay his bills. Or maybe CBS / Freemantle shut it down for copyright issues?

I don't think Fremantle shut it down. There might be technical problems with the site. If copyright issues were an issue, Chri$ Lambert's TPIR FAQ and Golden-road.net would have been shut down too. Roger D. and other TPIR people have seen the latter site, and Claudia used to post there.

Edit: Some old-school ATGSers from c. 1999 will recall King World suit Marci Shuster shutting down a couple of Bergeron HS fansites for legal or copyright reasons. Conversely, The TPIR staff seem to like Golden-road.net and have actually participated in it to varying degrees.

And the old www.tpirsite.com domain is now occupied by a cybersquatter. I hope the site isn't gone for good... it was one of the first game show websites to capture my attention back in the late 90's... and the webmaster's still been active online fairly recently. Funny there's been no explanation.

That's why they were reluctant to discuss the recent lawsuits brought about by Claudia Jordan and others.

I guess you can either get access or be free to discuss things frankly. Nothing new, really.

As posted in this thread, I think we were more reluctant to comment due to the fact that the news reports were false.

Then address the inaccuracies. Sunlight tends to make the truth come out.
