A rumor. Lovely. I heard a rumor that Don Howard made out with 20 strippers from Sex Club 7.

Let me clarify then. When we were talking about it at the end of class, my english teacher said she heard on the news that Clark can't speak now... maybe rumor wasn't the best word... but is this true?

Rumor? That's pure, unadulterated, BULLSHIT.

Clark suffered a MILD stroke on Monday, but he's fine now, and recovering well. If you STILL choose to believe the fallacy, I suggest you do a Google News search for 'Dick Clark'. That should about cover it.

Who wants to give the kid the lecture about rumors?

I give this guy two weeks before he Kleists.

Does your teacher like to bowl?

We do have a policy against posting unsubstantiated rumors to the board. That said, Mr. Kleist was not disciplined for his first mistake, and Mark (Wheelloon) won't be disciplined for his first mistake either.

However, I have pinned the relevant "Behind the Scenes" thread involving Mr. Kleist as a reminder to all. To Mark, and anyone else who needs a reminder: please read it.

EDIT: I also have changed the title of the thread accordingly.

It was only 13 strippers. And, yes, that story is true. The whoopee session ended at approximately 5am today when my alarm went off.

Is THAT what the kids are calling it these days.... :)

Thanks guys....

I was trying to see if anyone else heard this for fact... I would at least hope that my college English teacher would be a reliable source upon which to get information from... but apparently not...

With that said, i didn't think that that particular post would be considered a "rumor" but if it is on this website... I shall check twice before i post again...

In the meanwhile, can anyone confirm if Dick Clark will host New Year's Rockin' Eve? I've read articles online where they say he will, and others where they say he won't... here's one that says he says he very could miss it...

Second of all... ur thought of me "kleist"-ing within 2 weeks is quite interesing...

Audience????

"Line....Of.....The.....Dayyyyyyyy!!!"

Confetti falls, balloons drop, Don's 'alarm' goes off.....the crowd goes nuts!

PS...and I'm cutting this kid A TINY BIT O' slack, cause he's at my alma mater...

But you need to read more and post less. That's what Kliest couldn't do, and that's why he's so damn unliked.

But college professors are always a reliable source of game show information... right, gang?

(Memo to wheelloon: if you don't get it, don't worry; you will, soon enough. :-)

"Could" is the key -- every article I've read says they're taking a wait-and-see approach. He may not even know yet; it depends on how quickly he recovers.

I hate to burst your bubble, but age and maturity aren't the same thing. Both here and in this board's predecessor (alt.tv.game-shows), we've had 13-year-olds who carried on intelligent discussion and people in their late 20s to early 30s who couldn't.

Moreover, Adam Kleist (from whom Chris coined the verb "to kleist") was, IIRC, only a year or so younger than your intro says you are. However, the fact that you acknowledged your mistake puts you ahead of Adam -- and if you actually learn from it you'll be miles ahead.

When I first saw your post, I thought you said "before he Klausses". In comparison, maybe it's better if someone Kleists.
wheelloon
Okay, never mind,I get ALL your drifts. I think that this topic should be axed with those comments and we should move on to other happier subjects.
dzinkin
Yeah, this seems a good time to end the thread.
