And herein is the problem with the way stuff spread on the internet. The original "story" that the guy on radio-info.com copied (and later was copied by John onto our forum) was part of a humor column written by someone who calls himself "Muck Raker". The last line was "Muck's" joke about the story, which is a lot more obvious in the context of a humor column than it is, out of context, two message board cut-and-paste jobs later.

No, once you post the information under your name, you are as responsible for it as the guy who wrote it. ESPECIALLY if you don't attribute it. Which is why I would make damn sure I had my story straight before I went copying it to the world.
