Hello everyone, I have a question on the original run of Scrabble.
When did the Bonus Sprint premiere? Also, what was the highest the Bonus Sprint has ever reached?

The Bonus Sprint premiered on 12/29/86, and the highest I can recall it hitting was $18K(started at $5K and increased $1K a day until won).
I recall a $20,500 Bonus Sprint in the short lived 1993 revival. That version started the Bonus Sprint jackpot at $1000, and the jackpot increased by $500 if a player guessed a word in the maingame upon hitting a blue square, and by $1000 for landing on a pink square and then guessing the word.
