Did I say that about Styx?
"Lady" and "Come Sail Away" were good records.
Anyway, thank you all.

Thanks everyone!!! Even though I don't post too often, I do read everyday and I feel like I know a lot of you personally just from your posts. All of you are such a wealth of knowledge and information. In case any of you were wondering, I'm now 44....getting closer to my AARP years. LOL
Just wanted to add that the weather here in Key West yesterday was beautiful. It only got up to 79 yesterday.

Happy B-Day to my longtime trading buddy Don and the equally cool Mark...to the latter, is it Jillian Booberie or Jillian Bimborie? :-)

It's Dorothy Lucey. :)
I don't know where you got this Styx T shirt bit, Zach--I *possessed* a ticket to a "Dance Fever" taping when I was in LA in '79, but I never used it. And I never owned a Styx T shirt or any other rock band T shirt in my life.
In 1979 in LA, I tried out for "CS" and "Whew!" and saw "Alice" (with some guy named Marc Summers doing the warmup), Johnny Carson, "WKRP" and an institutional show for Schenley with Tim Conway and Harvey Korman doing some of their Carol Burnett schtick with plugs for hard liquor. It was taped in the upstairs studio at TV City, whatever number that is--I think it's where Wink taped "TTD." No game shows that week, except for "CS," and if they weren't going to pick me as a contestant...
Oh, yeah--I went to the Comedy Store and saw some of "Make Me Laugh"'s writers do their standup acts. I also went to a Dodgers game and carried my radio so I could hear Vin Scully talk about Farmer John meats. If only Helen Dell had played the organ on an old game show...

One of your contemporaries must have worn the Styx shirt, sorry about that.

Jigglin' Booberies. That's what I usually call her.
