Full Version: Family Feud Pres. Software Update

Now updated to version 2.1.

It's simply amazing how this project has grown over the past few months. On it's first month, 1 GB of data transfer was all that was needed for viewing the pages and downloading the file. Now, 1 GB of data transfer is barely enough for only supporting web page viewing traffic! Thank all of you for the support and the e-mails.

If you use the software, be sure to thank John Ricci Jr. for helping mirroring the file for me. If it wasn't for John's help, not only would I have to close the web site down, I would have to stop work on upcoming projects that are to appear in the future.

Down the road, if things are running as good as they are now, what other customizable game show projects would you like to see developed?

When you're taking on projects like you or Jimmy Fiono is doing with his ever-changing game show theater website, do whatever floats your boat. People like you know our tastes better than anyone :)

I emailed you a request for the $100,000 Pyramid not too long ago. If you need my help, I have sounds, pics, and rules of the game for you. Just say the word.

Dude, the things you do to this program make my mouth drop every time I see it It's simply amazing. Michael Adcock and I were looking at the previous version last night, and I think every "little thing" that we agreed "would be cool if it were in the new version", is in fact in the new version.

I did notice a couple of things just running through it to bring to your attention, and I have a couple of ideas for some easy-to-implement additions, but it just needs to be said publically: you, sir, are teh b0mb. :)

My God. Every time you come out with an update, I am more and more impressed. You truly have a gift and a knack for this stuff!

What you did is sick.

Great job.

I would be interested in a Blockbusters game. Although, I guess that would require joysticks for the buzzers.

Wow, amazing work man. Just one question, am I overlooking it, or is there a buzzer for a duplicate answer in Fast Money?

Again, though, amazing work and I thank you very much for it.

The Insert Key should do the trick. :)

Thanks! I knew I must have just missed it. :)

Aaaaah! On this newfangled Microsoft keyboard I have, I don't have an Insert key! (In the normal spot, anyways) The Delete key takes up 2 spots.

Keep looking. It's rather critical for toggling between Insert and Overstrike modes witrh most word processors. I refuse to believe it's not there, particularly on an MS product.

Excellent job. Nothing else I can say.

Interactive trilon turns ala the CBS 25k button 1 =$50 box
button 2 =$100 box
button 3 =$150 box
button 4 =$200 box
button 5 =$250 box
and button 6 =$300 box
would that be feasible

Sure, if you created it yourself.

Pyramid seems to be the concensus here and will more thank likely be the next project I work on. The only problem is I don't understand all the rules of the game. More than likely, I'll be calling on everyone's help from the trusty Game Show Forum.

Bear in mind, though, that a totally different project is a while away. You're going to be getting the Family Feud '88 package next, complete with the Bullseye round I've NEVER liked. Despite that, I think the '88 version will be fun to do since I'll have the ground work already laid out. Check out the screen shots section of my web page sometime for a sneak peek of what the '88 main gameboard will look like.

And now for the really hardcore Feud fans, I probably will not do a '94 or '99 version. To be honest, the graphic work required for the new set is beyond my scope of abilities. Not only have I not seen the '94 Feud, I don't even have a clue how the gameboard for the '94 set worked.

The main idea here is I will continue to contribute to the game show community. It's a fun place to be.

I found it, the label is hidden on the underside of the Print Screen key, acessible only when the F-Lock (switch bewteen F functions and special functions) is on (F-functions mode)
