Will you be attending the Game Show Congress which is tentatively planned for November 14 - 15?

It's easy for me to participate -- all I have to do is drive over the hill, assuming they don't call me in to work either day.

What, no vote for "maybe"?
I wouldn't even have to drive over the hill...but my attendance depends on cost and if there are any compelling events. (Lunch with people from this forum: probably compelling, maybe even more so if it's not an official GSC event.)

Oh; if only I weren't a lowly grad student who's going to San Francisco in January for a math conference and needs to save up for that (talk about nerdy!)...
I'm hoping that I'll be able to go to the next one, though (if there is a next one...fingers crossed!).
To everyone that will go, though: I hope y'all have double the pleasure and double the fun for me! :D

I really want to, particularly since I haven't seen most of you since 2006 (my honeymoon, remember?) and the fact that it's just a Saturday-Sunday event [yes, I do realize this is all tentative] would be a help breaking away from work, but we're finally bouncing back after a soft year on the income front {thankfully, I shoved ultra-sums into the savings account during my years as a university employee} that as much as Bev and I would love to be with you again, I can't justify breaking into the piggy bank for this. If the $207M Mega ticket I hold in my hand pays off, however, we're there. I hope it happens and I hope a lot of you get to go and take bunches of pictures.
If Anitra Ford is attending, forget what I said above. I'll just sell my car for airfare and lodging.

Remember, if it is a winner, 1% goes to The Ohio University Game Show Appreciation Society. $2.07M is a heck of a write-off.

Perhaps we could plan a Game Show Forum convention outisde of this, some sort of annual affair a la the old GSCs. Varying said event geographically would be nice too. Any interest?

That segment will be immediately followed by a NEW just added segment - Tom Kennedy and his "Wonderful World of Game Shows" presentation

I'm interested in going. I can fly free so airfare isn't the issue, I'm just wondering though if I can just buy a pass for the Saturday session (to justify it as an education investment :D) and see how cheap I can stay and eat there. Yes I am in college so thats why I'm looking to go as cheap as possible. :D
