ben bailey hosts cash cab in t-shirt and jeans (i hope)

trebek, did classic concentration in sweaters ditto combs on feud

I assume you mean more casual than just the recent trend of open-collar shirts ... but the first that comes to mind is David Ruprecht from Supermarket Sweep.

Also, Bob Eubanks hosted Trivia Trap in sweaters ... as well as the teams wearing red/blue sweaters.

Bob Eubanks had those stylish v-neck sweaters on "Trivia Trap" and the Hawaiian shirts on "Diamond Head Game." Paul Rodriguez didn't wear a suit on his "Newlywed Game," did he? There were are couple of times Art Fleming hosted "Jeopardy" in a smoking jacket and ascot.

I'd first seen Eubanks dressed casually on All-Star Secrets, which he was Executive Producer (along with Michael Hill), as well as host. He'd just about always wore denim blue jeans, even on those days when wearing a dress shirt, necktie, and sport coat!
Jimmy Owen
Sonny Fox wore polo shirts on "Way Out Games," Soupy Sales a sweater with dress shirt underneath, collar out on "Jr. Almost Anything Goes." Matt Ottinger wore a sweater on the "Quizbusters" spin-off, "Quizbusters, Jr."

Bob Bergen, Sidoni, Nicotero, etc.

Ruprecht would have been way cooler if dressed like Mr. Whipple.

The lower half of Peter Marshall. How much more casual can you get?
BillCullen1
Jimmy Kimmel on Win Ben Stein's Money dressed casually, Ben wore a suit and tie. Peter Marshall sometimes dressed casually on Squares. During Lin Bolen's era at NBC, most of the hosts went tieless and wore leisure suits. Supposedly Dennis James wore bell bottoms a couple of times on daytime NTT. That must've been a sight.
Robair
I think the first one on network TV to really dress down was Monty Hall on daytime LMAD. He liked those avant-garde leisure suits, Nehrus, etc. I also seem to remember Jim Lange once -- and only once -- host "Dating Game" outdoors in only a pair of swim trunks. Come to think, Jim was also a big early advocate of Astro Sign Medallions, Nehrus, and turtlenecks.

During all the daytime games he did I don't ever remember Geoff Edwards ever wearing a tie, and conversely I never remember seeing Dick Enberg in anything but a suit and tie.
Kevin Prather
Bert Convy hosted WLoD in casual clothing. I think on some on-location episodes in Hawaii, Pat Sajak was wearing Hawaiian attire.
SRIV94
Chuck Barris on GONG didn't wear tuxes every day. One episode featured him in a Philadelphia Eagles uniform.
mxc0427
I always liked Marc Summers' wardrobe on "Double Dare." Suit jacket and jeans with sneakers. I find that to be along the lines of casual.

I don't think Bill Cullen wore a tie on "Winning Streak," or if he did it was one of those ascot things.
fostergray82
I can't tell, but that might be a tie.

I noticed that on Don't Forget the Lyrics, Wayne Brady often went for what I call the "Kanye" look: sportcoat, graphic T-shirt, and jeans. IIRC, Marc Summers wore a sportcoat with jeans on Double Dare. At the age of 5, I remember loving his "Reeboks and no socks" look.

Bert also donned a Miami Vice look for some episodes of "Super Password".

Jim Lange once hosted a "Dating Game" taped in Hawaii wearing only swim trunks. He probably qualifies as Least Dressed Host.

John Davidson wore shorty-pants when The New Hollywood Squares taped some shows in Hollywood, Florida.
Chuck Woolery went caszh during many episodes of the 1993 version of Scrabble.
Jim Lange wore a pair of swim trunks sweater during a "special!!!" all-kids' edition of Triple Threat.
I recall a turtleneck-wearing Tom Kennedy during selected eppies of To Say The Least.
And I believe Arte Johnson went open-collar throughout the run of Knockout.
Casual attire was worn here and there by Tom Bergeron on Hollywood Squares.
Bob Eubanks took his wardrobe down a notch for many shows during the 1998-99 season of The Newlywed Game.
Maury Povich ditched the ties as the brief run of Twenty One was winding down.

I think I can remember Dennis James looking REALLY out of place in a leisure suit.

Also, I'm pretty sure John Bartholomew Tucker hosted Treasure Isle in casual clothes.

Jimmy Owen
JBT was dressed similarly to the Tidy-Bowl man, IIRC.

Considering the quality of the program he was hosting, it was quite fitting.
Jim Perry was an open collar man on It's Your Move.
Todd Newton was quite the caszhmatic on Whammy!

I loved Treasure Isle - I was about 9 or 10 at the time, though.
But then, I also loved Musical Chairs, so who am I to judge?

Didn't the Winker wear a sweater on HR87? I know he wore SOMEthing that clearly showed off his big belly.

He did wear sweaters sometimes on The Last Word.

In his final daytime NTT, Dennis James wore safari gear. NBC Daytime: It's a jungle out here!

Huh. I could've sworn he was wearing a sweater on one clip I saw — the clip where he calls himself Crystal Owens and KC Winkler. That clip doesn't seem to be on YouTube though.
Jimmy Owen
There was a clip of an office run-through for HR87 that was shown on the "Game Show Biz" syndicated special on which Wink was dressed in a sweater.

Richard Karn wore open collar shirts for most of his run on Feud. In the beginning, he wore a suit and tie about fifty percent of the time, then gradually wore more open collars, and sometimes, just a t-shirt.

Someone mentioned Tom Bergeron on H^2. I know he wore open-collar suits during the last two seasons. I really wanna say I saw him wear a sweater from time to time as well.

When Shop Til You Drop first started, Pat Finn wore suits. Eventually, he simply wore a shirt and tie.

Ty Treadway wore open collar suits everyday on M. G.'s Crosswords, and I haven't seen Rossi Moreale's name. He donned the "Kanye West" look on Temptation, which I found somewhat tacky, given the show is supposed to give off an air of elegance.
