I know it's a rerun, but summer's often the only time I have to catch the show on a regular basis.

Can I just say? Best. Bonkers. Ever.

The guy was working so fast he must have made eight or nine attempts, while at the same time being methodical enough not to duplicate a guess. And in a nice bit of cosmic justice, he won at the buzzer. (I was about to say he won on his last attempt, but of course if you win, it's ALWAYS your last attempt.)

Nice to see how fun and exciting some of these games can be when they're played right.

Yeah. Truly a shame that we have to weed through 17-18 trash playings to find someone, anyone, who can actually figure out how to play properly.

Same said for Ten Chances.

Contestants who have half a brain can win games where there are only so many combinations (16 for Bonkers/ 2, 6, and 24 for the respective prizes in Ten Chances if you take the zero rule into account, and even less when you eliminate the numbers that can't be the first in the price of the car, like 3-9.).

Anybody going to the contestant auditions?

It's even more of a shame when you realize that that's the same reason they dropped Hit Me.
Mr. Armadillo
They dropped Hit Me because most people didn't have a bloody clue what was going on.

The problem with Bonkers is that people don't understand how to play the game properly.

There's a subtle difference there. At least with Bonkers, people understand what they're doing with the discs, even if they don't understand they shouldn't be taking 15 seconds with every guess.

In all honestly, I think at the end, Barker was starting to get confused by Hit Me.

At the end, Barker was confused about who was announcing the show, so I don't think it's quite a fair comparison.

Comparison to what? All I did was say why I think they retired Hit Me. The last two playings made it pretty clear that he was getting lost during it.

Not really, considering I never said that.
