I dunno...looking at the "Q" in "DISCOTHEQUE", I'm still inclined to say Franklin Gothic...
I think Franklin Gothic is pretty darned close, if not exact.
It's Franklin Extra Condensed Gothic. -Dan Berger

Someone suggested orange tag board (22" x 28") and 6" gothic letters to me to get very close to Pyramid.

Does anyone happen to know the font they used for the chyron? I use Georgia Bold; it's close but not quite there.

For the chyron font, and this is just a guess, have you ever tried Palatino or even Times? All I 100% about fonts from "Pyramid" is that Cooper Black is used for the huge "$25,000" sign on the top of the WC Pyramid.

Nope, it's ITC Souvenir Bold.
And, Tim, try Bookman Headline (not the ITC version) for the chyron font.
