I'm sure none of us have attained Bob Boden's level, but what game show props, nametags, etc. do we own?

The only real game show artifact I own is my Price is Right nametag, but I'm sure there are other fascinating ones here.
chad1m
I've got a replica of the WOF $1,000 space.

I have one of the last questions asked on Bergeron-era Hollywood Squares. It was asked to Carrot Top, IIRC, but I don't remember the question off hand.

Aside from the assorted board games/videos/photos/tickets, I have one of the keys from the H2 bonus round.

I have a handful of question cards and similar small items from a number of recent shows, but my favorite one-of-a-kind is something that was never seen on-air. I have the original notebook from 1963-64 that the producer of Password used to keep track of his celebrity bookings for both the daytime and nighttime versions. If not for the history of it, it is just about the most unimpressive, nondescript thing you could imagine. Just a thin green folder holding maybe a dozen sheets of typed paper (with many handwritten corrections) and the words "Celebrity Bookings" written -- in pencil! -- on the front.

I'm sure you'd rather have the dancer attached to the scroll--I'll take that little Mormon Julienne myself. :)

Not a piece of a game show, per se, but I have a blue Wheel gift bag with Wheel T-shirt, keychain featuring a wheel layout, and an ink pen. Courtesy of a station reporter who did a story on the show during his visit to California three years ago.

Also have a red M.G.'s Crosswords tote bag, complete with a MGC T-shirt. Figured it would be a nice thing to explain to people in ten years, when they ask "What the hell is Merv Griffin's Crosswords?!" ;-)

I have one of the TPiR Credit Cards.

I also have a bunch of GSN junk they sent me three years ago for noticing an error on their website.

That reminds me of one of my strangest experiences. A producer from The Rosie O'Donnell Show called me one day asking if I could send her some episodes of some shows Rosie remembered from her childhood. I think the plan was to use some elements of them on the show in some way. Anyway, I did it for the kick of helping a "real" TV show, and one day, unsolicited, a huge box of Rosie swag showed up on my doorstep. I think I still have some of the t-shirts.

I played on episodes that aired 2/25/07 and 12/23/07, and was an alternate a few times before then. I'm graduated now, but I try to make it to tapings my old school is partaking in. (I also coach the middle school quiz team, so I'll be trekking back for QB Jr. in '09.)

The long credit crawl from The Better Sex, a Better Sex and a Blockbusters blank question card, and a piece of Allen Ludden's podium.

I keep forgetting things that I should've added before. I've got my interview card from Jeopardy! and my picture with Alex in a glass Jeopardy! frame. Also included is a large photo of all contestants from that week in a regular wooden frame where I, of course, positioned myself next to Alex. I've got no official remnants from my MDP appearance.

Two items from Nick Studios, including...

- What Would You Do? - a "Floor can be slippery sign" which was posted just outside the show's studio.

- Family Double Dare - a large sign saying "Auditions Today", listing family requirements and asking to meet at the Slime Geyser.

I also have one of the prize envelopes from the W-H-E-E-L WoF bonus round. Mine says "RIVIERA". Not sure what season it is from, I was thinking '93/'94ish.

I have my two TPIR tags from the tapings, two Canadian Idol numbers (yes, they're mine), the Wheel of Fortune puzzle I solved out at the tryouts, my wheel tag, my mom's contestant pass, two question cards from "Questions pour Un Champion", and what I think is the coolest, a set piece made out of fibreglass that has the logo to Reach for the Top with "Prince Edward Island" written on it. How that ended up in my residence storage area at university, I've no clue.

Almost. He knew he had stomach cancer but was keeping it a secret from everyone, including us. The corners of the podium were poking him in the abdomen where he was still tender from surgery.

Imagine a lectern from school with a flat surface. At the edge of the podium closest to him, an area was cut out which was about 9 inches square. It was open on the edge closest to Allen. Those were the two corners poking him in the gut.

From WWTBAM - Play It!: 20 pins (5 from my first time in the Hot Seat, 15 from the second time), 2 caps (one's sun damaged from being the back of my car for so long), a polo shirt, a leather jacket, a gold medallion, and some yellow and purple streamer confetti from the big win. Jeepers, it's almost 5 years now.

I also own a TPiR name tag and a Russian Roulette t-shirt.

My in-laws threw my TPIR name tag in the trash along with my plush Whammy! doll that I won at a GSN event in 2002. I've since acquired a replacement for one of those items.

I also have an autographed 8x10 of Monty Hall, but I don't suppose that counts.

I have my "Wheel of Fortune" name tag (actually two of them - I was an alternate before I became a contestant), tickets from the Fort Lauderdale taping of Wheel that I was an alternate at, contestant passes from my wife for Wheel, a "Million Dollar" check made out to me from when I was on "Who Wants to Be a Millionaire", TPiR name tags and numbers and a crew jacket from the UK version of WWTBAM that I bought from a Brit on eBay back in the day (real nice Celador winter jacket with a huge WWTBAM logo on the back).

I also have various WWTBAM Play it! pins and other materials, however I view them as more of an indirect souvenir.

-$500 pull card from the first season of "Win Ben Stein's Money." (A writer contacted me asking to send him a list of category names for him to add to his portfolio because he hadn't kept track. A week later, that card showed up in the lobby at my dorm building.)

-Ceramic dalmatian (Christmas gift to staffers and related employees during the 25th season of Wheel.)

Not really a "piece" of a game show, but maybe a little piece of GSN. When I made my call to Club AM on 12/20/94, they sent me a Winnie Pin and an autographed card from Steve, Laura and Peter to say thank you. A nice keepsake from GSN's early days!

They were a gift from producer Ronnie Greenberg. The paint has faded a bit but they make great bookends!

I have the $2500, $3500, and $5000 spaces from "Wheel of Fortune." I'd say they're about 10-15-years-old. The $5000 is a little warped since the space is actually made of fabric and mounted on acrylic, and the glitter on the $3500 is starting to fall off. Overall they're in really good shape for their age.

Not that the holidays haven't already had me emotional enough, but this was all it took to bring me to some bittersweet tears and a precious memory...

If only those of you who never had the honor of meeting our dear late Randy Amasia in person, you missed one of the sweetest moments EVER...that moment at GSC4 when Randy first laid eyes and then his hands upon that set of BIG SHOWDOWN dice (I assume we're speaking of the same pair). I swear that it felt like Randy, in one brief moment, experienced losing his virginity, the feeling of his first true love and being reunited with a beloved long-lost relative all in one fell swoop. I'm not sure just how long it took for his hyperventilation to subside and normal breathing resume.

As someone who was there at the time, absolutely QFT. I can still hear him exclaiming "OH MY GOD" when he saw those dice. Absolutely glad I got to meet him (and you, Jake, and Matt O., and David H., and anyone else at GSC4 reading this) while I could. Some of the best memories of my life in a summer which otherwise was peppered with tragedy.

While I never met Randy, I can imagine how he felt seeing those dice. However, they are not the same pair. Mine were given to me by RG back in NY in the months before he moved to California and have never left my home in NJ (but for a brief foray to my Manhattan office during Christmas 2007 for a SHOWDOWN roll for fabulous holiday gifts for some of my co-workers). I am fortunate that Ronnie had an extra pair to deem me worthy of having, and that he was able to give others like Randy pleasure with one of the pairs he kept.

I attended the first two tapings of John Davidson's "$100,000 Pyramid" in December of 1990, and the crew members were wearing some pyramid-shaped pins that said "The Power Of The Pyramid." (Some people wore them on-camera, including Terry Lester a few weeks later.) One of the other members of the studio audience asked the staff how to apply to be a contestant, and they gave him a pin. He was nice enough to give me the pin as a souvenir of my trip.

How cool! I myself have a few game show items. I have a check from the Check Game from TPIR, a card from Hit Me, a "item up for bids" card, some crew jackets from LMAD90, $25,000 Pyramid, 70's Password, Password Plus, Osmond Pyramid bowling shirt. My favorite item is a winner's circle category plexi glass from the 80's Pyramid.
