Just a heads-up for those viewers of KMTV in Omaha who want to see tonight's "Million Dollar Password": It's going to start on or after 2:30 AM because of a B-ball game at 6 PM. '60 Minutes" will air approx. 1:30 AM.

Well, at least they didn't pre-empt it. :)

I didn't realize it took 7 1/2 hours to play a basketball game.

Unless your sarcasm meter is on, let me explain that "The Unit" will more than likely be joined in progress after 9 PM, whenever the game ends. Then comes the local news at 10, followed by two hours of local/syndicated programming KMTV would rather not sacrifice for any CBS tape-delays. Only then, at 1:30 AM, do they have the available time to run "60 Minutes", MDP and "Cold Case", because otherwise it'd just be an extra three hours of CBS Up To The Minute.

It used to be a lot worse that this when it came to regional B-ball-induced TV pre-emptions where I lived...trust me.

Note (and this is the part that really stinks for you): Betty White is one of the celebs on this evening.
