No spoilers here, except in a very broad sense. They're running the week with Susan Richardson and Patrick Wayne. Whatever his shortcomings as a host, he's proving a pretty good player, holding his own against Susan. Also, they're two days in and there's been no mention of his famous dad.

However, their oddly inconsistent judging was on display today. In the same Puzzle, 'Dizziness' was accepted for the Password 'Dizzy', but 'Doctor' was not accepted for the Password 'Doc'

I don't see that as inconsistent. Dizziness is a form of the word dizzy. Doctor is not a form of the word doc. (That is to say, in the two dictionaries I consulted as I wrote this, "doc" and "doctor" were actually two separate entries, whereas "dizziness" was, in both dictionaries, listed under "dizzy".)

Now that said, using "doc" as a password is almost as bad of an idea as using "New York" as a password.

Then shouldn't the rulings have gone the other way around?

TK: "How's your dad?"
PW: "Still valiantly holding on in his fight to remain dead."
TK: "Wonderful! Let's play Password."
