I noticed they have had a lot of male contestants lately named JC. Why is that?

I don't know. But I do know the one they currently have on is pretty good.

Maybe they are Korean. I say that because I know of a poker player named JC Tran.

Maybe it's an alias because they're too embarrassed to admit to America that they were on "Temptation"?

Maybe they are former boy band members. I say that because I know of one named JC Chasez.
