According to one of the Entertabloid shows, Drew's new deal will pay him in the "upper seven figures" per year. Let's say for simplicity's sake that it's $8 million. Perusing www.thescooterstoreshop.com, your typical mobility scooter retails for about $800. Doing the math, Drew's annual salary is the equivalent of 10,000 mobility scooters sold at retail in one year, or 833 per month, or 192 per week, or 38 mobility scooters per day.

To be fair, we don't know how Drew's salary is split between Power of 10 and TPIR.

The rumor is $5 mil. Again, we don't know how much of Drew's paycheck will be TPIR and how much Card Sharks/Grand Game Power of 10.

Not bad for a show that gets by on spots for mobility scooters and diabetes supplies. If it were Jim Perry still doing SOTC or Tom Kennedy still doing Body Language, it would be more like $1.5 million.

So CBS isn't getting totally taken to the cleaners. "Upper seven figures" is about par for the course on TPIR. They'll make some of that back by making Drew do two or three shows per day and cutting back to three days in the studio per week.
