Over the weekend, my PC crapped out and I since Friday Night have been redownloading everything including the BASICGames. I redownloaded TPIR, MG, MGHS, CC, LMAD,FF and Gold Rush. Tonight , as I was about to redownload the other games, I got the site temporarily disabled sign.

Could somebody please tell me why it is down now and when it will be back up?. I would appreciate it. I do enjoy all the BASICGames.

Probably just a temporary site burp. If Ryan has a bandwith limit, you probably exceeded it by downloading all those games.

I never have understood why people get so impatient when it comes to other people's works, when they're not paying a dime for them.

For what it's worth, the WHOIS record for folff.com was just updated yesterday (July 10). Educated guess: Ryan is in the process of moving his site to a new server.

Hi! Sorry I didn't tell anyone but I'm in the process of moving my site. I hope to have it back up by the end of the month. Over the next few months I plan on going back to work creating new games. Possibly The Power of 10 and Temptation. Also, I've decied not to make any new priceing games for TPiR.

Thank you Ryan for the information, I am looking forward to more games on the site, including The Power of 10 and Temptation.

Hi Everyone! BASIC Games is back and up and running! But, if I get a C&D letter from Sony telling me to take down Tic Tac Dough and The Joker's Wild and Bullseye... I'm shutting the whole thing down because TTD and TJW are my two favorites and I'm not running a site with out them. You'll see our new look plus The Price is Right and The Match Game-Hollywood Squares Hour have been combined into one zip file for each program. Plus, while your there download my Match Game standalone program and tell me what you think of it... I didn't hear hardly a peep from anyone about it.
JacksonBrowne1980
cool, thsoe are cool games, ryan; when did you make these?
BobbyLankford_83
Cool Match Game standalone program Ryan!. Especially my favorite part, the Star Changer!.In addition to Brett, Richard, Charles, Betty, et.al. ,I have also used other stars on the panel like Bob Barker, Ryan Seacrest, Paula Abdul, Sharon Osbourne and others. Great PC version of MG,Ryan!.

I too also like TJW,TTD and Bullseye, Ryan, but I don't think Sony will come down on you like they did at FLASHGames. I would like to see this site stay with or without Sony games.

If you ever do Password Plus or any other word game I can always help with the words!. P+ (or SP) would be cool to do.

The Match Game program was very good indeed. I enjoyed it very much.

Personally, I think this announcement was a big mistake. Mind you, I've noodled around your stuff, and there are some good games there, but now you're going to have a small army of people whining "When is the next game coming?" "Why doesn't Temptation have the Turbo and Lockout!" and so on. If you just keep that sort of thing to yourself, then the noise level goes down considerably.

I'm of the opinion that it doesn't matter what Ryan says or does. If he writes computer versions of game shows and makes them available, he's going to get complaints from fanb0iz who demand lots more games and will still complain about every single one.

But then, perhaps my perspective is colored from having deleted, among other things, a "request" to have "a Sale of the Century game on Flashgames with the rainbow buzzers and all the format changes" and an insistence that "any TPIR computer game that doesnt (sic) have every pricing game is useless, it needs to be COMPLETE."

But the counterpoint is that if the announcement wasn't made, there would be a small army of people whining "Why isn't Ryan working on anything?" and "When is the next game coming?" anyway.

Damned if he does, damned if he doesn't.

Double true, sadly. I suppose the only answer is "the more you whine, the longer I'll wait." That would at least be the most amusing for me, if I was the one doing the programming.

I submit that I'd need to dig out my trusty TI-85 to figure out when my great-grandson could finally upload my scratched together game of $100,000 Pull My Finger.
