Not for nothing, but doesn't a show have to actually be on before it can become a hit?

Well, what did you expect from an NBC promotion?

Well, what did you expect from an NBC promotion?

Ad writers with enough sense to say "hey, you know, we'll look pretty stupid if we put ad copy out claiming our show is a hit before anyone's seen it"?

If you've ever seen a Deal or No Deal promo, you'd know they have no sense whatsoever.

Just as long as it currently a hit in Sweeden, I don't have a problem with it.

And given NBC's tendency to over-promote their programming to the point of irritation, it would be highly ironic if this show dies a quick death, along with "Celebrity Cooking Showdown" and "The Real Wedding Crashers".

Is it a $1000 singing bee? There's a wacky host looking for an emcee job, if so.

And despite all the ripping we do on their current network shows (see Deal, Deal or No), they have the ballsies to sign up as a member on the forum? Maybe they are looking to us for help (yeah, and the Kansas City Royals will be the World Series Champs this year).

Despite the name, I suspect that it's someone from Phil Gurin's office who has joined, not someone directly from the network. Gurin's producing "Singing Bee" for the network.

If that's true, then I suspect a certain amount of overzeal, because I can't see NBC being happy about someone who doesn't actually work for them representing them publically.
