Well, I would assume she can still do her GSN stuff (her new Playmania schedule is supposed to be Friday-Sunday), but good for her, I think she'll do well.
ChrisLambert!
The practice schedule for DwtS almost 100% certainly precludes her from doing quiznation. And even if it didn't, she'd be crazy not to take a leave of absence anyway - this is the biggest opportunity of her career thus far, and there's no time to waste giving out $50 bills to stammering callers while standing in a pinebox studio in Culver City.

/or in the middle of Afghanistan!

True, but I would think that when GSN did the press release about the new Playmania schedule, the higher-ups at GSN had knowledge about this happening- if only because they've probably already started practicing. Plus GSN could get some good PR out of this too (especially when they start the new Lingo cycle). ABC might nix her appearing on GSN once the show actually starts, for competition reasons (when Stacy Kiebler was on, the WWE always did a big segment on her performance until ABC asked them to stop)-but I doubt they're going to suspend airings of "Hannah Montana" just because Billy Ray Cyrus is on DWtS, so who knows. One things for sure; she won't be first out, as I've seen a ton of invective already about Heather Mills being on...

Big difference, though--Hannah Montana is on the Disney family of networks. GSN is a competitor.

On the upside, Paulina Porizkova means there is a chance of a cameo from animal magnet Ric Ocasek.

On the downside, Apolo Anton Ohno means the local media (at least, on KOMO) won't shut the hell up about it. :P

Well Jimmy Kimmel's interviewing one of the other contestants tonight (Leeza Gibbons)......I doubt he's going to be able to resist it...

Tasteless jokes? Hmmm... I can't think of a single one. Frankly, I'm stumped. When it comes to comedy, I don't have a leg to stand on.

I dunno, but I'm sure Heather's got one leg up on the competition.

Now if only she got the other leg up, then we'd have a show. ;)

That's actually not true. ABC didn't stop anything on TV. UPN didn't want the recap segments to air on the WWE's program on their network because of competition with another network, so WWE just moved them over to their Monday night show on USA. The only thing ABC stopped was a direct link to the DWTS voting page on WWE.com.
