Hey guys, long-time reader first time poster...just had an interesting question and thought it would be cool to hear your responses...
Which celebrity would you want leading you up Pyramid's Winner's Circle or Password Plus's Alphabetics or even Hollywood Squares' ill-fated big money bonus round or...well you get the point...name a game show(s) bonus round and what celebrity you would want to play with?
For me, I wouldn't have minded Betty White as my partner in either the Winner's Circle or Alphabetics.

Betty or Nipsey Russell on either Alphabetics or Pyramid.

I'd go for Markie Post.
I don't even care what game show.

GREG MORRIS on Alphabetics.
DICK CLARK on Pyramid.

Betty White on all three of them.

Pyramid: Dick Clark. His U.S. career mark is six trips, 35 categories solved.
Alphabetics: Betty White

I'd go with Soupy Sales on "Pyramid". Statistically, he gave away more money than any other celebrity on the series. (Source: Soupy Sales.)
Alphabetics: Miss Betty.
Rhyme and Reason: Brother Nipsey.
Super Match: Patti Deutsch. (I have no interest in kissing Richard.)

This list begins and ends with Bill Cullen. I'm on a game show to win some coin, and I believe that with the exception of Dawson on MG, Cullen presents the best average for many shows.

My dream partner: Lynn Redgrave. Or Lee Meriwether. For reasons that had little to do with winning.

I'll Take Billy Crystal

For me, the answer is Bill Cullen as well. Game show chameleon: he fit into just about every show he did.
But for the Super Match, if Bill weren't there, I'd choose Charles Nelson Reilly.

Super Match: Patti Deutsch.
I hope you're kidding. Given Deutsch's propensity to march to her own drummer, she'd be the last person I'd want to pick.
I know--everyone's supposed to play it straight in the Super Match. But Deutsch and Bill Daily are probably the two people I'd least want to see come up on the wheel.

Hell, Bob probably would have picked them too.

Agreed, I found her attempt at humor to be obnoxious, mainly b/c she always went out of left field with an answer, which could screw the contestant over, esp. when they're in a position to win.
For MG, either CNR, Brett, or Richard.

To be fair to Ms. Deutsch, she played it very straight in the few times she had Super Match duty. If you see her on PM, watch carefully and notice she would play the 3rd round straight. She knew how to play the game.
Mr. Daily on the other hand...

Surprised no one said Shelley Smith for Pyramid or (Super) Password...I always thought she was definitely the best Pyramid player, and maybe one of the best Password players as well.

You may be right. But the potential for her to go astray would lead me to
not choose her.
And I've seen moments on MGPM where she didn't play it straight in Round 3.
