I expect CBS to air it in primetime, as the prelude to the broadcast of the Daytime Emmy Awards that night.

Not true...CBS is doing a special of Bob Barker and his 50 years on Television. I think the special is most important than his final TPiR.

I thought to myself, since Bob's last TPIR and the Daytime Emmys will be June 15, I thought, "if I ran CBS, I should run the Barker finale, then the Emmys."

Well, at least he would probably bring games back to daytime. Of course, they'd all be trivia shows about NASCAR, wrestling, and other game shows. :-P

Seems to me that it would more likely be "You are the motherf--kin' weakest link, goodbye!"

Or on A&E, "You are the mother freakin'..."

Next on CBS, the 250 hour marathon of "Hoosier Millionaire" with Mark Patrick and Barbara Hobbs.

Oh gawd, I defended HM?!?!? "Better than TPiR..." Either I was smokin' Rod Roddy's ties or eating Plinko chips...

(Kneeling down to the west) Please forgive me Bob. I was out of my mind in the early 2000's.

And follow up that with $1 million revivals of Free 4 All and Quicksilver.

Wait! Never heard of them?? That's probably a good thing.....

Hard to forget something that isn't true. By the season finale, they'll be taping a week and a half in advance, and in previous seasons, they've been going two or three days in advance at that point.

Indeed -- the show I attended taped on a Thursday in late May and aired the following Tuesday.

I believe Monarx was snarking at Mr. Henke, and how his recaps were always on a long delay from their respective episode's airdate.

Usually, I wouldn't bump a more-than-a-month-old thread but the chart on this page now ends with a May 23 tape date and June 1 air date.

You added useful information in a topical fashion to a discussion. Shouldn't matter if the thread is two days or two years old for that. Well done.

You know, it doesn't actually say that the June 1 episode is the season finale, and it strikes me as pretty strange that they'd suddenly cut ten shows that had already been scheduled. I'm wondering if maybe they've just decided to air Barker's last two weeks in September.

And actually, this is CBS.com we're talking about, so it's entirely possible that the page wasn't supposed to be changed in the first place.

Don't we also have a few shows that didn't air due to pre-emptions like Gerald Ford's death/funeral and Iraq stuff?

No, those just aired this Monday and Tuesday.

I can now confirm that my original guess was at least partly correct. The June 4-8 and June 11-15 shows will happen; they just might not air on those dates.
