First off, know that I'm doing this of my own volition. Neither Chris nor Matt have asked me to do this, nor do I feel compelled to do so based on any discussions I've had with either of them. This is ALL ME. And quite frankly, I don't expect it to be taken seriously. But, anyhow, I'll make this short:
I realize I've been a bit of an...well, an asshole of late. Like, more than usual. :) And I'm not gonna make any excuses for it, it just is, and that's all. And it does seem to be affecting the tone around here, and that isn't good.
I can't undo what's been done, but I can do my part to make this a better, friendlier place going forward. So to those of you who have received the overly-sharp end of my ClueStick of late, I can only offer my sincere apologies, and the humble request (well, as humble as I can be, anyhow) that I be judged not by these words, but by my actions going forward. And if you don't think you can do that, well, that's unfortunate, but I do understand.
Here's, I hope, to the future.

Grumpiness happens. All water under the bridge from where I'm sitting, if where I'm sitting factors in. You know, metaphorically. I hope you don't have a dispute with my chair or anything.

That's cool. It's not easy to admit you're wrong. :::turns the page::
I'm Joe, nice to meet you. :)

In the words of Red Green: "Sometimes it's best just to look them in the eye and say 'I'm wrong.' And not add 'this time.' or 'for a change.'"
seriously though. i'm glad you admitted your mistakes. it takes a big man to do that.

Naahhh I'm just joking. We all get grumpy, just some more than others. You're cool in my book.

Chris,
I appreciate you doing this. I know I don't post that often (I usually try and save it for when I have something useful to contribute, which doesn't seem to happen too much), but I do check this board often. I was concerned that this board was starting to turn in to another ATGS. Even though you haven't necessarily been snippy with me per se, I do accept your apology.

Apology accepted...regardless of whether or not some of my past comments were truly "irrelevant" or "nitpicky" from your POV, we all have our moods, myself included, so don't worry about it. :-)

Not having been a target of your barbs, I'm not sure I'm in a place to accept your apology... but I'm glad you said what you did, Chris. On ATGS your comments would barely have been noticed, given how many posts there were far worse than yours -- here, they did seem out of place.
It takes a big man to admit his mistakes at all, not to mention without prompting. I may not always agree with you, but you're a decent sort and it's nice to have you around. :-)

There are a lot of a-holes in this world and this hobby who wouldn't dare admit when they are wrong.
Bravo for admitting it.

If Chris legitimately had anything to apologize for he would have been dealt with by us already.
These confession-is-good-for-the-soul posts, like game ideas, are something we neither encourage nor prohibit. However, if this develops into a trend of ATGS-style psychodrama then we will take action.

It's cool. Appology accepted.
To tell the truth, I usually think you're more right than wrong.

EDIT: Your response to the poster who said something to the effect of "WOF would be nothing without Charlie O'" was a CLASSIC : )

Chris, you and I have butted heads quite a few times, and I know you to be a pasionate defender of what you believe true or right. I might not like what you say, and I might dislike the way you say it all the more, but I do respect your convictions. I have nothing short of admiration for you for having the cajones to apologize like that. Apology accepted, as far as I'm concerned.
