I have just received word that Wednesday's episode of DOND will be affected in some way because of President Bush's speech at 9 PM. It will either be delayed until about 10 or pre-empted outright.

Ah, the East Coast bias rears its ugly head again.

(Yes, consider the source, I know.)

According to NBC, they are going to repeat episode #241 (Sunday's Grease themed episode) of Deal or No Deal on Wednesday because the time slot will be cut short.

Thanks for the info, man. Smiliar to what CBS had to do with a TPIR episode last week.

FYI: NBC has rescheduled the Deal that was to air on Wednesday night for Sunday at 7pm ET, pre-empting the scheduled 1 vs. 100 episode (which has not had a new date set as of yet). I assume it'll air on some Sunday (as opposed to Fridays) since it has people from both "Grease" and "Apprentice" in the mob.

I'm happy they'll rerun the Grease episode. Thanks to the NFC wild cared game ending near 8 PM on Sunday night, I missed the Double or Nothing feature. Hopefully, I'll be able to see what it's all about.

I probably think the updated Sunday at 7 PM schedule will look something like this:

Jan 14: DoND(originally schedule for Wednsedy Jan 10)
Jan 21: 1 vs 100(originally planned for Jan 14)

After that, who knows.

Well, you see, after the contestant's game ends, they are offered the chance to risk their winnings and win double, or, alternately, nothing.

/and if you can't figure out the rest from promos including two giant friggin' briefcases...

And since Sunday's show is episode 223 (season 2-23rd episode), that was shot way out of order, which is why last night's show had the return of Rump Slapper from last Wednesday's episode 222. I'm surprised that on 221 last Wednesday they didn't call Howie in to redub the closing to say that she'd be back on Monday, since Sunday was a special edition. Guess they thought no one would notice.

Just once, once only mind you, I'd love to hear Craiggers reply to someone's comments on his useful contributions.

Just once.

Never happen, ignorance being bliss and all that.

Speaking of things that they thought no-one would notice: on each of the last two Deal or No Deals, there's a voice-over dub of Howie stating that the last bank offer was $33,000, when in fact one time it was $38,000 and the other time it was $31,000.

OK, maybe I've paid too much attention, and it's not really that big of a big deal, but since I notice things like this (and I'm sure some others do as well) you'd figure they'd double-check something like this before letting it go on air.
