On today's 4:30 Family Feud (Hedges vs. Park), the first toss-up question seemed normal enough. "If someone asked you your age, you might like. Name another question that you might answer with a lie." Obviously, this was just a re-wording of a question that produced a famous stream of FF bloopers. This is the first time I've seen a question used again on the same run - Has anyone else seen recycled questions on the same version?

The Marshall Hollywood Squares used to do it all the time.

Peter Marshall: What do you call a cow that won't give milk?
Charley Weaver: Every name in the book!

Peter Marshall: What do you call a cow that won't give milk?
George Gobel: Hamburger!

(correct answer: a "dry" cow)

I don't know whether you meant on the Feud or on any show, but I know I've seen questions re-surveyed on the Dawson Feud. If memory serves, in one of the eps from the Thanksgiving 2004 marathon, Richard starts off by saying that they re-surveyed with the same question, and it was "Name a famous (person with a certain name)."

FWIW, happened on Pyramid all the time. I remember when GSN would air the $25K and $100K versions back to back on Saturday afternoons, and in more than one instance, I saw the same WC categories used on both episodes.

I remember that they re-used some questions on Tattletales from time-to-time, especially re-using questions from the '70s version on the '80s remake.

Also happened on CARD SHARKS.

I guess what we're saying is this isn't all that uncommon. :)

There's even been some surveys (one I remember with even the same answers) used in the Dawson era that carried over to the Combs' version. I guess there are only so many questions you can ask people that fall within the "G" rating scale. :)

And also remember that back when they did the shows, no one expected that cable television would have such a gaping maw that there would be a market for unrepeatable game shows--and that there would be people out there who would notice these things.

Thanks to that, we had on "Donnymid" "What Regis Philbin's Coffee Cup Might Say."
