...where you would learn (thanks for the plug) one of my all-time favorite bits of home-game trivia: After the game show scandals detroyed the credibility of all those old quiz shows, Lowell re-released Tic Tac Dough as the "3-in-a-row Home Quiz", the exact same game but with no Jack Barry and no reference at all to the fact that it was based on the disgraced TV show.

Here's what I don't get...

Who in their right mind would pay $60 for it? And $16 in shipping on top of that? Heck, I'd probably get it from the guy myself.

I didn't notice the price in the listing. You're right, it's not worth a fraction of that.

You know, if you look closely at that picture, it says his name.

I think, though, that if you didn't already KNOW his name, that little picture isn't going to help you much. Maybe "Jack", but I don't see how you get "Barry".

I had no interest in buying it, just, long story short: I've got the Australian version of that game (identical box, with pound signs instead of dollar signs, no Jack Barry on the box) for someone for whom I do research work (he worked on the Australian version of the show back in the 50s)... noticed the almost-identical US version so, yeah, needed the details
