I agree with the contingent that says $10 per point as a consolation prize in 2009 is perfectly reasonable. Among other things, it makes the math easier for both host and viewer. Which was my argument for it from the get-go. Joe and Jane Schmo (have they tied the knot yet?) can tack on a zero to the end of a number, right? Unless they're trying to convince America that "alligator" has three letters, I would say there's still hope. |

Either that, or they should just have a "House Minimum" like on Wheel. Of course, if second place contestants on Jeopardy! receive $2,000 cash, the highest payout on FF, if $10 per point, would be $1,990. All in all, I agree that it is "reasonable!" |
