I thought it was cute...didn't take itself too seriously, and was fun to watch without being over the top. Had a lot of cheesy moments, which were somehow charming, instead of irritating like D/ND (all matter of opinion). Loved how they threw other celebrities in the audience, i.e. Adam Carolla.

Also found the show to be a slight parody of TPiR, with Lance's "COLEGE" [sic] shirt, and Paige's antics, which I liked.

The rule changes seemed a bit awkward, like the one Showcase Showdown, but other than that, nicely done. Hopefully none of the forum members jumped out a window yet. ;-)

I give it an A-. The minus is for too many cutaway shots of the audience and Contestants' Row. (that's the armchair producer/director in me, sorry!)

First off, I really wanted to like this. Saying it was horrible would not be unfair. I really hope it does get better. Anyways...

Ricki was more annoying than I thought she would be. This seemed way too forced and the editing gave me a headache.

I can see the TPIR fanbois now throwing out their TV's since Kathy didn't get a 2nd putt.

If Paige got $80,000, would that count as an official record?

I also tried entering online for the viewer giveaway and got "Sweepstakes entry is now closed" after I registered.

I agree.  I figured that is the way she was going to act as host, excited when it necessarily isn't called for.   I thought it was too cheesy.  I am biased because I am not a fan of TPIR.  The editing also was jarring for me.  It is a shame how much time commercials take up now a days that they could only play three pricing games in an hour.

I'm more worried about the entry problem than anything else -- not because I'd think I'd have a chance of winning anything, but because legally speaking, they have to provide a free method of entry or it's not legal.

This is only the first night, and Ricki is more annoying than she was on her talk show...

...as for the gameplay, it just dragged.

I will give it, overall, a B-, but this is only the first night.

I was using Firefox to register. However, after logging in with IE, I am able to select a price.

I would try clearing your cache if you are using IE.
